Extraordinary Educator Makes The Grade With Stanford Who's Who
Haroon Rashed has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his exceptional effort in the Education Industry.
BALTIMORE, MD, January 30, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Haroon Rashed has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As a Teacher and Coach at Atholton High School, Mr. Rashed has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Atholton High School is part of the Howard County Public School System. The Howard County Public School System ranks among Maryland's top school districts based on student performance on the Maryland School Assessments. Howard County students score above the national averages on standardized tests and more than 90% of graduates continue their education beyond high school.
Mr. Rashed is responsible for teaching US History and Global Studies as well as coaching Track and Wrestling. During his educational career, he earned a Master's degree in Education Administration from Loyola University Maryland in 2006. Haroon greatly enjoys playing, watching and coaching sports.
