Young Judaea's Israel gap year program, Year Course, is offering all Young Judaea alumni the opportunity to refer their friends and family to spend a year in Israel and collect $500 for every person that sets out for the program.

NEW YORK, NY, January 24, 2011 /High School PR News/ -- Young Judaea's Israel gap year program, Year Course, is offering all Young Judaea alumni the opportunity to refer their friends and family to spend a year in Israel and collect $500 for every person that sets out for the program.

Year Course is a nine month program for high school graduates who are eager to attend a gap year program in Israel and develop an appreciation for their Jewish heritage and culture. During their stay in the country, participants in Year Course receive an intense and inspiring introduction to Israeli life and to the spirit that helps connect Israel to Jews and non-Jews all over the world.

Year Course provides university accredited courses in English, with the option to learn Hebrew, travel throughout the country, independent group living and the opportunity to volunteer for a variety of different schools, children's homes, agricultural settlements and hospitals. The volunteering program helps students create deep and lasting connections with Israelis in all walks of life.

Young Judaea is also offering the $500 compensation to alumni who make referrals to Tochnit Shalem, a yeshiva and seminary program in Israel for Modern Orthodox observant young adults.

In addition, a $300 discount is being offered for early applicants to YJ Summer, a fun filled summer program in Israel for teens completing their sophomore and junior years of high school.

Young Judaea has been bringing thousands of Jewish youth from around the country and the world to Israel for over 100 years, resulting in generations of strong Jewish leaders empowered to make a difference in their communities and the world around them. Its Israeli programs include WUJS Israel Hadassah, where post-college graduates can get an internship in Jerusalem, and Amirim Israel, a summer internship in Israel program for young professionals aged 18-27 who wish to give back to their communities through meaningful volunteering and internship options for non-profit organizations.
