Lisa W. Gilbert Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Lisa Warren Gilbert has been a Professional School Counselor at Covington High School for the last three years.
Clifton Forge, VA, August 19, 2010 /High School PR News/ -- Lisa Warren Gilbert, Professional School Counselor of Covington High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in education.
Mrs. Gilbert has had seven years of overall professional experience in the human services and education fields. Her responsibilities at Covington High School include assisting students in grades 8th through 12th through personal and social development, career development, and academic development. She primarily works with 11th and 12th grades on academic/career planning and transitioning students to life after high school. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Human Service Counseling from Old Dominion University and received her Master's of Art Degree in Human Relations/Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Studies from Capella University. She is a member of the Virginia School Counselors Association, Virginia Counseling Association, and America School Counselor Association.
