ELLICOTT CITY, MD, March 11, 2010 /High School PR News/ --Pamela Lee West, Assistant Principal at Centennial High School of Howard County Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in educational administration.
Pamela Lee West is a distinguished educational professional possessing over three decades of practiced experience. Responsible for monitoring students and organizing staff programs, Ms. West is recognized for her ability to meet the needs of both students and faculty of Centennial High School, where she now serves as Assistant Principal.
In an exclusive interview with Cambridge Publishing, Ms. West noted that her success has been the result of hard work, perseverance and the will to overcome all obstacles. Of course, she could not have made it to her current position without the support of and strong example set forth by her father. Her strong will is further enhanced by an impressive academic record—Ms. West holds a bachelor of arts in education from Lynchburg College and a master's degree in special education and administration from Loyola College, where she earned 30 additional credits. Ms. West is also a certified supervisor, a certified principal and assistant principal, a certified superintendent and holds certifications in both general and special education.
In her interview, Ms. West also noted that she will seek to continue meeting the needs of her students as she moves forward in the coming years. Ms. West is a proud member of the Maryland Association of Secondary School Principals, the American Society for Training & Development and NASSP.
