Bernard D. Dell'Aquila, MA celebrated for proficiency in physical education and coaching
HICKSVILLE, NY, March 11, 2010 /High School PR News/ --Bernard D. Dell'Aquila, MA, Physical Education Teacher at Hicksville High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in physical education.
A former business marketing professional, Bernard D. Dell'Aquila, MA recalls having always been involved in sports in coaching. In an effort to turn his passion into a profession, he enrolled in Adelphi University's graduate program in physical education in 1992. Following his commencement, Mr. Dell'Aquila secured a position with Hicksville High School as a physical education teacher—a post he maintains to this day.
In addition to overseeing physical education classes, Mr. Dell'Aquila teaches students the fundamentals of various sporting techniques. He coaches a number of sports teams and provides weight training services and fitness counseling. Mr. Dell'Aquila is also involved with the nearby East Meadow school district where he serves as a high school lacrosse and football coach.
Mr. Dell'Aquila holds a master's degree in physical education from Adelphi University and a bachelor of science in business management from St. John's University. He is an affiliate of the New York State Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
