Elizabeth J. Graham, M.Ed. Receives Recognition from Cambridge Who's Who

Elizabeth J. Graham, M.Ed. maintains the humanities department at C. Leon King High School in Tampa, Florida

    TAMPA, FL, December 23, 2009 /High School PR News/ -- Elizabeth J. Graham, M.Ed., Teacher and Department Head of Humanities at C. Leon King High School of Hillsborough County Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of secondary education.

Specialized in Spanish grammar instruction, Elizabeth J. Graham, M.Ed. lends over 23 years of professional experience to C. Leon King High School in Tampa, Florida. She is currently responsible for overseeing the school's humanities department, which consists of foreign languages, art and music. In addition to overseeing staff and curriculum, Ms. Graham teaches standard language courses and advanced placement classes.

Her love for teaching extends back to her early years in college when she was studying for her bachelor's degree. Driven by what she calls a "knack for languages," Ms. Graham decided to pursue a career in academia. She attributes her success to her extensive teaching experience as well as her efforts to bring out scholastic excellence in each and every student. Most recently, three of her students won three of the top county honors in the Hispanic heritage essay contest. She is proud to have played an instrumental role in their achievement and looks forward to maintaining the high quality of C. Leon King's humanities department. In recognition outstanding contributions to her field, Ms. Graham was named "VIP of the Year" by Cambridge Publishing for the 2009/2010 year.

Ms. Graham is Ph.D. (ABD) in philosophy, and holds a master of education in Social Foundations and a bachelor of arts in Spanish from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her professional affiliations include the Florida Foreign Language Association and the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. In addition to her involvement in the field of academia, Ms. Graham is a professionally trained actor as well as an operatic and Bel Canto vocalist with Opera Tampa.
