Chicagoland's Best High School Football Players Recognized

National Collegiate Scouting Association Hosts Tom Lemming All-American Team Banquet to Recognize Local Student Athletes

    CHICAGO, IL December 05, 2009 /High School PR News/ -- On Wednesday, December 9th, Chicago-area football student athletes will be recognized for their talent and accomplishments at the Tom Lemming Underclassman All-Area Banquet. Head coach for the Northwestern University Wildcats, Pat Fitzgerald, will be on hand to honor these student athletes as the key-note speaker of the evening. A former linebacker for the Wildcats, Fitzgerald has a an eye for spotting talent at the high school level and knows what it takes to be recruited at the college level.

The Tom Lemming Underclassman All-Area Team was chosen by the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) Selection Committee which includes former college football coaches Randy Taylor and Bob Chmiel, the nation's leading expert on college football recruiting and high school talent, Tom Lemming and Taylor Bell of the Chicago Sun-Times. Comprised of primarily underclassman, this year's All-Area Team demonstrates the importance of student-athletes getting involved in the recruitment process early in their high school education.

CEO and Founder of NCSA, Chris Krause states, "These hard working student athletes deserve to be recognized for their dedication to their sport of football. Making their achievements publicly known and having such a respected member of collegiate athletics as Pat Fitzgerald recognize these students is just another stepping stone for them to have possible future opportunities in collegiate sports and a lifetime of success."

Comprised of the top underclassman in the Chicagoland area and six seniors, these student athletes were selected based upon their achievements and outstanding abilities. This recognition and endorsement from the reputable members of the recruiting community will undoubtedly set these students up for future success in college athletic programs.
