In June, Phoenix police arrested Johnathan Richard Hock, 20, on two counts of sexual assault after he allegedly streamed live video of the attack on an unconscious woman on a website.
Police said Hock and the 20-year-old woman had been dating for approximately two weeks when the attack took place in late February. She was reportedly unconscious during the assault after getting drunk with Hock and passing out in her bedroom at her home.
Hock, who lives with his mother in Surprise, Ariz., remains in custody without bond in Maricopa County Jail.
The woman reported the early morning attack to police after several of her friends saw the streamed five-minute video and told her about it.
Police described the victim as "humiliated" and "embarrassed."
Viewers of the video told police and reporters that it showed Hock performing sex acts on the partially unclothed woman. They said the video purportedly created with Hock's laptop computer also contained passages in which Hock bragged about being able to sexually violate the unconscious woman.
Police said they are unable to determine how many people viewed the video.
Hock, host of an Internet program, is notorious on the Web for posting sexually explicit videos and photos on various Websites. The alleged sexual assault was webcast on stickam.com, a real-time video site. Still images of the assault were also posted on another Web site, authorities said.
Police said they are investigating other possible Internet sex crimes involving Hock.
Hock pleaded not guilty in July to the two sexual assault charges. No trial date has been set.
