Penn Foster Launches Online High School Diploma Program with a Healthcare Career Focus
Penn Foster has launched a new high school program with a concentration in healthcare. Graduates will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to move forward with a career in the healthcare profession or continue their education within healthcare.
SCRANTON, PA, April 08, 2009 /High School PR News/ -- Penn Foster High School, one of the oldest and largest distance learning institutions in the world, has created an online curriculum with a concentration in healthcare courses as an integral part of a student's program.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the healthcare industry is generating more jobs than any other field. Penn Foster is addressing this need by offering a high school program that includes five one-credit courses in healthcare support training. Students enrolled in this program will be able to earn their high school diploma while simultaneously earning credits that can be used toward one of several allied health programs.
