Cambridge Who's Who Names Hope Sara Blecher-Sass Professional of the Year in K-12 Education

Dr. Blecher-Sass' expertise lies in teaching and professional development.

    CLARK, NJ, February 20, 2009 /High School PR News/ -- Dr. Hope Sara Blecher-Sass, Founder and Literacy Specialist with hope4Education.com., has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in K-12 Education. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

With an impressive background that spans 23 years of professional experience, three of which have been as founder and literacy specialist with hope4Education.com., Dr. Blecher-Sass' expertise lies in teaching and professional development. Aside from overseeing daily operations, she is responsible for developing curriculum for on-line and school courses and collaborating with teachers and parents in order to improve their subject material, better preparing students in state proficiency tests.

Prior to establishing hope4Education.com, Dr. Blecher-Sass was a special education high school teacher specializing in English as a second language. She is presently co-authoring a book which will be published in 2010 and the highlight of her career was earning her doctorate degree. She is a recipient of the Hipp Foundation Grant and the Character Education Grant.

Dr. Blecher-Sass earned her Doctor of Education in Teacher Leadership from Walden University, her Master of Arts in Education from Kean University and her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Rutgers University. She is a certified supervisor, a certified teacher of the handicapped, a certified teacher in English as a second language, and a certified elementary school teacher. A recipient of the Parent Teacher Association Teacher of the Year Award, she is a member of the New Jersey Education Association, the Walden University Alumni Association, the Bergenfield High School Alumni Association, and the National Education Association.
