Rotary International Orlando District hosts 300 students, parents at Annual Youth Forum on Community Leadership
The Orlando district of Rotary International recently hosted some 300 students, parents and educators during its annual Rotary International Youth Forum at Lyman High School in Longwood.
LONGWOOD, FL, November 19, 2008 /High School PR News/ -- The Orlando district of Rotary International recently hosted some 300 students, parents and educators during its annual Rotary International Youth Forum at Lyman High School in Longwood.
Carlos Giraldo, Rotary International district governor in Orlando, said 18 of the district's 25 Rotary Youth Clubs participated in the annual youth forum.
"The Rotary International Youth Forum focuses on building leadership skills and furthering the efforts of young people to contribute to their communities," said Giraldo.
"This year, we have such an inspiring example of community leadership in our own president, and changing our own communities was a major topic during the Forum," Giraldo said.
