Private teaching agency reports many enquiries for private tutors to help with SATs preparation
Leading private teaching agency reports highest numbers of enquiries from families for private tutors to give extra SATs preparation, but agency founder warns parents about effects of exam cramming.

Adam went on to say, "I'm really saddened by the effect that the pressure to achieve good results in the SATs is having on children," Adam continued. "I feel that this pressure is taking the richness out of school education and sacrificing the nurturing of thinking and reasoning skills for intensive rote learning of facts.
