Ms. Constans has 42 years of professional experience. She excels in working with developmentally disabled children, and is responsible for teaching all subjects and reading to a mixed age group of children. She worked for more than 35 years as a teacher in Bellevue Public Schools. The most gratifying aspect of her career is helping students learn and having an impact on them. In the future, Ms. Constans hopes to open her own Montessori school for 12-year-old children.
Ms. Constans has written a newsletter about possible ways to teach children of multiple age groups. She stays current with the trends in the profession by attending conferences and college-level classes. Ms. Constans holds a Master of Science in Child Psychology and Early Childhood Education from the University of Hartford and is affiliated with the Montessori Schools Association.
