SEG Research Announces Expansion of its K-12 Program Effectiveness Research Services
SEG responds to growing calls for scientifically-based research to support educational product and service adoption in the K-12 sector
/High School PR News/ - NEW HOPE, PA, July 19, 2007 - SEG Research, a Scott Elliot Group company, (www.scottelliot.com) today announced that it will expand its program effectiveness research services for educational publishers and online service providers. SEG provides a full range of educational product and service evaluation and validation services including research design, instrument creation, data collection, data analysis and reporting.
"We have seen a significant growth in demand for program effectiveness research services as educational service and product providers respond to government and consumer pressures to demonstrate program effectiveness through scientifically-based research." said Scott Elliot, SEG's President. Recent SEG projects include: evaluating a print and online program for the development of K-5 student reading skills; upgrading a statewide online mathematics diagnostic assessment system; evaluating a web-based language proficiency assessment system; and evaluating vendors for a K-12 consumer based assessment service.
