BuzzFlood Surpasses 3 Million Hits
The Dartmouth student group\'s website (www.buzzflood.org) reaches another milestone
/24-7PressRelease.com/ - April 4, 2005 - BuzzFlood started one and a half years ago with a vision to help celebrate the good things happening at Dartmouth and in the surrounding community. The vision was turned into action by its website (www.buzzflood.org). Recently, BuzzFlood surpassed 3 Million hits on its website. The group also has thousands of subscribers. BuzzFlood released this statement:
"We recently surpassed the 3 million hit mark on our website. Our growth is quickening. It took several months to pass the 1 million, less time for 2 million, only a few months for 3 million. With thousands of subscribers (students, staff, faculty, graduates, parents, friends), we are humbled with this milestone. While we recognize this as a noteworthy achievement, in reality, the Dartmouth community deserves the credit. The stories, not the story tellers, are what make Dartmouth such a special place. Thank you for being a part of this."
BuzzFlood is led by President Dani Osorio. The leadership team is composed of Chrissie Chick, Lindsey Larson, Michael Greene, and Constantinos C. Neophytou.
In addition to BuzzFlood's recent milestone, the Office of Admissions has used BuzzFlood as has the Dartmouth Athletics Office and the College Fund. Professor Hany Farid of Computer Science said, "BuzzFlood is a must read by Dartmouth College administrators, faculty, staff, students, and anyone interested in the ground-breaking scholarship happening at Dartmouth College. The technical design, web design, research, writing, and editorial selection, all done by this student-run team, is of the highest caliber. The BuzzFlood team embodies the spirit and greatness of Dartmouth's students."
